I miss Bahasa Indonesia

For a long time I blog and write many things in English..

And now I feel like… I miss bahasa Indonesia.. I wanna try to put some posts in Bahasa in this blog.. while when I googled, I found that I also have another blog which I almost forgot and it’s abandon and I use BAHASA INDONESIA..

Bahasa Indonesia known as National Language for my country Indonesia…

I know that Indonesia is a multi cultural country but sometimes I feel annoyed by people who speak Bahasa Indonesia with hmmm let’s say a mixture language with their tribes’ language to people that they need to respect, here I mean, parents, teachers, lectures ya.. people like them..

I might put some post in Bahasa.. I’m not sure..

Savory at SuTos

I went to SuTos – Surabaya Town Square to kidnapped An and forced An to watch “This Means Was”

and somehow it worked. The movie wes good, made us laugh after watched it we decided to eat and try a new restaurant and taste cakes in new cake shop in it. It called “SAVORY”. The restaurant itself looks cozy with their dimmed light and their cozy music and next to it I saw a bright cake shop. I was confused which place I should try first, since both looks yummeh :p in the middle of this situation, a nice lady came and explained to us that this place  are actually connected .. so we decided to dine in Savory restaurant plus order cakes from the cake shop

.. Suprisingly with their decoration and name, they offers Indonesian dish more than international dish. I thought the opposites they also have International dish. So, I decided to taste both. An, as usual ordered Indonesian dish and I ordered some light International meal that finally I found not that light .. LoL

Drinks we ordered

This is mine Ice Chocolate ..

I found little mint flavour which for me it a lil bit bother.

The chocolate was nice enough and rich so the mint quite change the chocolate richness..

This is the Choco Banana Float.

Yes.. An always love banana.. I always thought that An some missing link from Darwin’s theory hahahaha… An loves Banana… any kind of banana. When I tasted it. It’s really nice. The banana can blend with the chocolate and it made the taste perfect. I really recommend this to order if you go there. I even changed my drink (^_^) I asked An to drink mine and I drink this ..such a nice trade :p

This is they so called light meal, which I found out not that light for their wages fries will make you full for sure.

This is Fish and Chip with their fried Dorry fish that will never disappointed you their mayonnaise light and nice, they deep fried it and the chili sauce hot enough to warm up your tongue

This is An’s dish.

Indonesian dish which called “Sambal Udang”

They put the prawn mixed with hmm “petai”. Petai contains high anti oxidant taht really good for your body and your skin, yet after you eat this you will have bad breath and super bad smell when you fart and pee hehehehe.. to be healthy sometimes need sacrifice (^0^) it taste good though.

from 10 I gave this 7

This is part of “Sambal Udang” which I forgot what is this vegetables. They put coconut milk in it. I totally don’t like this vegetables soup. It smells awful plus the taste hmmm for me is absurd.

Well I gave this 3 over 10

This is my favourite dessert and An know it.

Yups.. The Blueberry Cheese Cake.. always become my favourite. Their Blueberry (not Blackberry LoL) Cheese Cake is nice, it’s creamy and soft while the blueberry not that sour. Its first layer also not that hard, still soft enough. But for me until now the best Cheese Cake own by Bakerzin (drooling..sluuurrp)

And now here are their menu.. Check out their price. It still reasonable price. The ambiance was nice and the food is OK. The thing that bother me is their sofa. I sat on their sofa and found it uncomfy with gap on the sofa, anyway that is not a big deal. You still can have fun n hang out with you friends here.

This is silly part of Savory, kinda cute and it’s purple (my fave color). It look like someone drown there and shout “help..help” .. Ok it’s not funny hehehe.. Well now you can just visit there anytime. Hang out there and share your comments. Ask someone to kidnap you and bring you there

Review about hachi-hachi (that lost last time)

I’ve posted about the review yet the pictures can be shown up… and now I am proudly present you this review with photo in it (^_^)

The first picture coming from my Korean pork ribs that I ordered that time. The sauce marinated perfectly and it made it so tender and delicious plkus the salad taste good … they also can served it with rice if you want (^0^) It called as Korean BBQ Ribs, it is a grilled pork ribs in glazzy korean sauce with tsukemono vegetables. The sauce taste superb. When I was there it cost Rp. 45.000

Another dish is Baked Salmon Roll that contain of kani, kyuri, jelly fish (yummy) and topped with baked salmon in creammy mayo and tobiko.Isn’t it delicious?? and it only Rp. 33.000

Another menu I ate that time was this marinated salmon don. Yupz I ate a lot (^_^) It was a cooked salmon in tsume sauce mixed with vegetables and egg over rice. So yummeeeh with price only Rp. 39.000

With that warm and nice soup it made this food really good for you when you get cold

This potion no. 8  is superb delicious……

So come to surabaya and try to eat here..

small things go big

Hi all..

I don’t know what happen to my blog.. I lost some of my blog stories and some pictures in it. Hope I can fix it and can still pop it out here.  Or the worst thing happen if I need to type it again and put up again here. I guess the posts to yummy to post it here (^_^)

I was watching a movie with my very best An. An was choosing “dream house” with Sheridan in that movie. I was refusing … Nothing wrong with Sheridan and Naomi Watts but the thing is the movie has horror genre and I hateeee HORROR.. I hate it hate it and just hate it.. and as usual I need to follow An and watched it.. Hiyaaaaaa…

I was screaming out loud undelined here.. out loud..  hahahahaha lousy girl (T_T)

In the middle of the movie, groups of outrageous rascals came in and make a loud voice .. they talked loud like never being in that place. and it bother me a lot.. An said I need to calm down and stay focus, while I am half of mighty hero (LOL) who always fight for right thing ahahahaha… So I “sssssshhhhhhh” to them loudly.. and then they keep talked with loud voice so.. I said, “sssssshhhh kampungan ya” it’s bahasa Indonesia ..means hey you villagers ahahaha correct me if I am wrong.

Anyway.. small things can go big… Every time we queue.. we are angry if someone just come and don’t want to queue in a line, in your heart you want to yell ” Hello.. there is a queue line here dude >.<”

Or even in other case, while I was in a food court and someone without asking me anything just grabbed chair in our table and use it, cmon..what if I am waiting for someone and I prepare a chair in my own table… it’s impolite and rude.

So guys.. please don’t do this.. small things can go big.. road rage can happen because people can drive properly. They drive like that is their own road and they’re like trying to show up as a pro and drive zig zag …

Hope people in Indonesia especially here in Surabaya can be a good citizen..

ok I need  to stop this because of Keerthana, Ashwathy and Antony start to disturbing me with their problem ahahahaha Ashwathy said her head being hit with a guitar.. Wow.. such a romance and violance in my work place …lalalalalala

Review of Hachi-Hachi Bistro Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya

Hi all…

Gosh.. I guess I am totally a moron who miss my blogging so much :p

Ok.. this was the story.. My sister and brother in law celebrated their very 1st anniversary (^_^) and we all kinda rush with so many things yet we don’t want to miss this day as usual. My mom went to Jogjakarta that day.. ouch so sad…

Anyway.. Let’s start the review

We went to Hachi Hachi Bistro at Tunjungan Plaza. The place was nice, the ambiance, the waiters are all nice and so friendly plus they have quick response  (^_^) I am madly hungry that time and my feet aching since I use my 12cm Pedro -I will share you about this special shoes in other post (^_^) but the good part they serve us quickly…

Actually this place is my favorite place in Tunjungan Plaza Mall, like almost every time I went here I always eat here Their tag line is “Sushi and whatever”  They also have korean  dishes and their drinks are superb nice (^_^)

Whuzz up .. LOL I just like to use this “whuzz up” lately

Last Saturday, I invited by my very first sponsor .. Jessica (^_^) She is such a kind hearted person and a poem maker. If you guys want to give your date a poem, just contact her, she is the master (^_^)

Anyway, this pretty girl sponsored me to review Jamoo Restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel Surabaya. This restaurant located at Shangri-La Jl. Mayjend Sungkono 120 Surabaya level 1. The restaurant concept is a buffet restaurant, with 5star hotel quality. Here, you can taste Western and also Indonesian traditional food and beverages. There are 9 food stations, where sweets n cakes will meet you from the first time. In this station you can find ice cream, cheese cake (taste awesome), crepes, waffle and traditional snacks, cake as well.

They also have grill for seafood, beef and chicken. They will grill which food you choose directly, so the taste and the smell will be nice. They offers you different types of sauce. Meanwhile, they also have traditional dishes, like beef rendang and others The rendang taste really nice.

They have pasta station, where you can choose pasta you like and sauce you like. I tasted spaghetty cream sauce with bacon which I tasted not really good, maybe because that night they have 3 different family celebrate birthday so many people come and the spaghetty I tasted it raw, I mean not cooked well so it still hard and sticky.

It’s look very nice, especially it still freshly cooked, yet the taste not that awesome. oh ya, they also have panini and macaroni

This is the spaghetti that I took by myself they will cooked the sauce for you.

They have the Japanese station. They made the sushi from fresh ingredients and you also can ask SASHIMI yesss sashimi, my favorite part here (^_^) as much as you can eat LOL..

hmm.. I guess this guy is the only one who use this kind of cloths here #sigh

There is a fruits, salad and drinks station. Sometimes they served “Beras Kencur” Indonesian traditional drink, it’s a herbal and can soothe you digestive. It also good for females especially when they have their period. Have your fresh juice here too.

You can find a station with soups in it, let’s say  Corn Soup, Chicken Soup, Cream Soup, Crab Soup, Laksa, Soto Ayam, and the most wanted one,  Tom Yum — yummy–

and also, Seafood Corner plus with cheese corner (all types of cheese served here)

They have special offers in particular day.

• Wednesday and Thursday they will have a barbeque corner in their terrace.
• Friday and Saturday, you will satisfy with their seafood menu.
• Sunday will be special for kids. They have so many menu for kids.

The ambience is nice with their lights and sofa, it was a great combination. During lunch you can see the pool since they have pool view that will make your appetite growth faster in here hahaha…

The unique thing here, if you celebrate birthday, the crew will come with cake, candles, guitar, and empty bottle while they sing happy birthday to you. It’s nice right

So I will give 9/10 for food, ambience and the services. The price is worth to pay with the foods and everything in it.

Hi.. all it’s been a while..

whuzz up people

I’m kinda busy with my lovely weekend but no worry I will put up here what’s going on there and plus as this blog mean to be, reviews

On Friday, I got my marvelous job from my cute customers There was a musical drama for kids and fortunetaly I was the one who done their make up. It’s really a challenging thing, since this is the first time I got cute lil costumers and also they have soft and gentle skin .. hmmm which we all used to have LOL..

anyway, it was fun and excited in the same time.

What I use for my cute costumers healthy skin make up??

• I used MAC pallete for the eye shadow but I used pink at most since I want to made them look fresh.
• I use the revlon foundation and loose powder, I don’t want to make their face to “cakey” or matte instead the foundation only for made this make up long last – they dance, sang and played music so I don’t want to made them looks oily
• I use Revlon liquid lipgloos with pink and orange color

and look at them.. so cute

It’s crucial to love yourself

It’s just so true..
it’s a sentence that easy to say, just like many people’s motto “Be Yourself” but it’s not that easy to do it.
When I’m in childhood, I have brunette hair and pale skin and it’s really pale with brown eyes, my mom said it’s pretty but not my friends. The teased and mocked me like I’m an alien and I tried to tanned my body by sunbathed everyday back then until my mom scolded me and warned me about skin cancer. Back then I have no idea what is skin cancer, what I know, my mom really angry and it’s bad to see her angry. She said,

“If people don’t like you, be cool, we are different and it’s normal”

YES..

We all different one and another.. If we don’t love ourself how can people love us? We deserve love from ourself. People opinion it’s important, but that doesn’t mean we can hate ourself just because we are different.

We can not choose our hair type, skin color, our parents and even we can’t choose our name. Make up can do changes, but without your heart feeling, you can not be a grateful preson. Some auto-universe things happens and if we looks further, we can be a better person by see many things inside our life by see people around us.

I have one friend, a really good friend from high school. She has a nice smile, nice body shape, nice hair and also she is a good writer, yet she always says, “mey, you’re the best, I am not, because I am….”

or

“mey, you’re so cool.. you deserve so many cool things and also happiness, but not me..”

Hellllooooo…

People deserve happiness..They do.. We do..

but how to love myself if “myself” is this and this..bla and bla…

it’s actually easy,

•  Think that God give you life and start to count blessing that you have. From the very simple one, you have hands, ears and so on..
• Close you eyes .. take a deep breath ..tell to yourself “I LOVE YOU, ME”
• Do silly thing.. Keep yourself frank, fun and silly
• YOU ARE WORTHY TO LIVE THIS LIFE

This song officially is a love song to a girl and officially already years ago, but if you see it differently it will bring you confident. Me, myself, I sings this song and sometimes look at the mirror and sing this to me and say,
